About me

A graduate of Collegium Medicum and of Molecular Biology at The Faculty of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology, both at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow. In the years 1998-2019 he was professionally associated with the Second Department of Internal Medicine of Collegium Medicum UJ , the Immunological and Hypercoagulability of Blood Clinic, as well as with the Clinical Department of Allergy and Immunology of the University Hospital in Cracow. Since november 2019 he is a senior assistant at the Clinic of Rheumatology and Immunology at the new headquarters of the University Hospital in Cracow at Jakubowskiego Street. He also consults at the NSSU Immunology Clinic in Cracow. In 2012 he obtained a doctorate in medical sciences. The dissertation ``Platelet glycoprotein polymorphism Ia and its relation to the premature occurrence of coronary artery disease among men” was awarded by the Faculty Council of the Collegium Medicum UJ.
In 2002, he received the Award of the Foundation for Polish Science for young scientists, the scholarship was extended to 2003. He belongs to the Society of Polish Internists (TIP), the Polish Society of Allergology, the Polish Society of Angiology (PTA) and the International Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH).
